Dr. Duane L. Archer MPH, DDS

Dr. Archer attended the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana, and received his B.A. He then went on to achieve his Masters in Public Health from the University of Illinois, Chicago, it was during this Masters program that he participated in a dental clinic, this experience sparked his interest in the dental field and he was hooked!
Having always wanted to help and give back to the community, he realized that oral health plays such an important role in our overall well being, and is sometimes put aside and often neglected. With this in mind, the only way he could make a difference was to become a dentist. He attended the University of Michigan Dental School in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Archer with his wife Karen, and their three children moved to Maryland and are pleased to call Columbia home.
Besides his love for dentistry, Dr. Archer enjoys playing soccer, is a huge sports fan and likes to take in a movie once in a while. He looks forward to meeting you, and trying out his latest jokes!

As Dr. Archer wife, Karen is now happy to be his partner of another sort, as co-owner of Precision Dentistry. She works behind the scenes to ensure that the business is running smoothly. She enjoys meeting our patients, and is continually looking for ways to promote good oral health within the community. Aside from looking after their three little girls, she enjoys running, and competed in the St. Patrick’s Day 8K last year.
